Nations rise and fall. Battles are fought. Brother fights brother. Father fights son. Blood spills. Wars are won. Kingdoms are lost.

Dont know but the one I've just ate from the Cornish Oggy Oggy Pasty shop in Glasgow was delish.

As a totally unbiased non-Brit, I say, if it looks like a pie and it tastes like a pie and it quacks like a pie... it's a pie if the Duck says so...

Yes.

In fact I would go so far as to say that by virtue of being surrounded with pastry, (virtue indeed - please bury me in pastry) it qualifies more as a pie than the open-faced fruit tart, poncy Mediterranean vegetable torte, or humble and yet stylish quiche.
