Price of pie.


Pies. Lots of pies.

Most of these pies are marked up at £4.99 (around $8.65 or €7.22)

I think that's too much. Even if they are home made.

With veg and gravy added, going between 4 people, it'll bring the meal price to around £1.90-£2.00 each.

So, how much would you be prepared to pay for a pie?

Wow! That is expensive. I'd recommend emigrating to Canada. Plus we have great maple syrup. And ice hockey. Which uses pucks that look like little pies. But don't try to eat one... oh no...

Yes, but there's information missing here. These are in fact organic roquefort and cranberry and hand-reared Kobe veal pies, with a crust of manually harvested wholegrain flour ground between the thighs of ambassadors' daughters. 50% of the price goes to providing vaccinations and blankets for AIDS orphans in Tanzania.

Surely that's worth the extra penny or two, just for the dinner conversation?
